A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle

We have begun reading A Wrinkle in Time. Students are describing each character as we learn more about them, learning what the big idea is by writing a brief summary of each chapter in a “story strip,” and increasing their vocabularies by deciphering words they don’t know in an Etch-a-Sketch.

As we are doing this first novel as a read aloud, I ask that nobody read ahead.
After this novel we will begin Literature Circles in smaller groups.
