Prince of Wales Mini School is a district enrichment program offered by the Vancouver School Board. The school was established in 1973 in order to meet the academic and social needs of highly motivated students. Prince of Wales Mini School consists of 150 students from Grade 8 to 12 (30 students in each grade). It occupies a self-contained building on the grounds adjacent to Prince of Wales Secondary School.
There will be an Information Evening for Grade 7 students and their parents on Monday November 3rd at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Prince of Wales Secondary School (2250 Eddington Drive).
Any student interested in applying to any Vancouver District Program must write a District Alternative Programs Test on Wednesday December 10th. Students are able to register on-line at: www.vsb.bc.ca (follow the prompts) from Sunday November 15th to Sunday November 30th. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Deadline for receipt of application to Prince of Wales Mini School is 3:00 p.m. on Thursday December 18th. Applications may be dropped off at the office of Prince of Wales Mini School (4750 Haggart Street) or Prince of Wales Secondary School (2250 Eddington Drive).
